Nokia Pakistan's Cheap Publicity Stunt On Twitter - Don't Buy Shit Phones [Epic Fail]

Nokia Pakistan's official twitter accounted posted a vulgar tweet yesterday, saying all the other brands 'Shit', including HTC, Sony, Apple and Samsung by mentioning their official accounts exclusively. The tweet said that 'Don't buy shit phones'. Nokia Pakistan said that they did not tweeted anything like that. Read the details after the jump.

Nokia Pakistan deleted the tweet and clarified that their official twitter account was compromised and they did not do anything for publicity but anyone can easily guess that it's not the case. The digital marketing team of Nokia Pakistan must have thought that we will get so much new followers and publicity by this "so called funny act" and then we will say that sorry its a mistake and people will understand that. But unfortunately it didn't happen.

If Nokia Pakistan thinks that these type of cheap publicity stunts will help them getting viral on social media then it's their mistake. People who saw that tweet, disliked it and criticised the brand on their desperate publicity stunt.

We can understand that no one want to buy Nokia's boring Windows Phones these days and people prefer Samsung, HTC and Apple over Nokia but still, we do not expect these cheap strategies from such a big brand and they need to understand it too.
